Srijonshil Gaibandha Distributes Quran Among Underprivileged Children in Fulchhari
8 July 2021: Youth-led organization Srijonshil Gaibandha distributed free copies of the Holy Qur’an among underprivileged children in a remote village of Fulchhari Upazila on Thursday morning (8 July 2021).
According to the organizers, a total of 20 children from low-income families received copies of the Qur’an as part of the organization’s commitment to social and spiritual development. For many of these families, purchasing a Qur’an is financially difficult.
Local representatives of the organization were present at the event, where they spoke briefly on the importance of religious education and compassion in society. The children expressed joy and gratitude upon receiving their personal copies of the sacred book.
A member of the organization stated, “We believe that every child deserves access to religious learning. This initiative is a humble step toward fulfilling our humanitarian responsibility.”
Parents and community members who attended the event praised the initiative and encouraged the organization to continue such noble efforts in the future.
ফুলছড়িতে দরিদ্র শিশুদের মাঝে কুরআন শরীফ বিতরণ করল সৃজনশীল গাইবান্ধা
৮ জুলাই ২০২১: গাইবান্ধার স্বেচ্ছাসেবী সংগঠন সৃজনশীল গাইবান্ধা ফুলছড়ি উপজেলার একটি প্রত্যন্ত গ্রামে দরিদ্র ও সুবিধাবঞ্চিত শিশুদের মাঝে পবিত্র কুরআন শরীফ বিতরণ করেছে। বৃহস্পতিবার (৮ জুলাই) সকাল ১০টায় এ কার্যক্রমটি অনুষ্ঠিত হয়।
সংগঠনের পক্ষ থেকে জানানো হয়, এই কর্মসূচির মাধ্যমে প্রায় ২০ জন দরিদ্র শিশুর হাতে বিনামূল্যে কুরআন শরীফ তুলে দেওয়া হয়। অনেক পরিবারের পক্ষেই কুরআন সংগ্রহ করা কঠিন হওয়ায়, এই সহায়তা শিশুদের ধর্মীয় শিক্ষায় আগ্রহ বাড়াতে সহায়ক হবে বলে মনে করেন আয়োজকরা।
প্রধান অতিথি হিসেবে উপস্থিত ছিলেন সংগঠনের স্থানীয় প্রতিনিধিবৃন্দ ও শিক্ষাপ্রেমী ব্যক্তিবর্গ। এসময় শিশুদের উৎসাহিত করতে ধর্মীয় গুরুত্ব ও মানবিকতার বিষয়েও সংক্ষিপ্ত আলোচনা করা হয়।
সৃজনশীল গাইবান্ধার সদস্যরা জানান, “আমরা বিশ্বাস করি, মানবিকতা ও ধর্মীয় অনুশীলনের সুযোগ সকল শিশুর প্রাপ্য। কুরআন বিতরণ কর্মসূচি আমাদের সামাজিক দায়িত্ব পালনের একটি ছোট প্রয়াস মাত্র।”
অনুষ্ঠানে স্থানীয় অভিভাবকদের অংশগ্রহণ ছিল চোখে পড়ার মতো। তারা সংগঠনের এই মহৎ উদ্যোগকে সাধুবাদ জানান এবং ভবিষ্যতেও এমন কার্যক্রম অব্যাহত রাখার আহ্বান জানান।
