“Srijonshil Gaibandha” Receives Registration from Department of Social Services
“Srijonshil Gaibandha”, a community-based organization located in Tengorjani village of Ballomjhar Union, under Gaibandha Sadar Upazila, has officially received its registration certificate from the Department of Social Services, under the Ministry of Social Welfare, Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh. The registration number is GAI/Sadar/1541/2023.
On Monday, 19 June, 2023 at 2:00 PM, the certif icate was formally handed over to the organization’s president, Md. Mehedi Hasan, by the Deputy Director of the District Social Services Office, Md. Fazlul Haque, in the presence of Shahabul Shahin Tota, Gaibandha district correspondent of Prothom Alo.
According to the Department of Social Services, the organization was registered under Section 4(3) of the Voluntary Social Welfare Agencies (Registration and Control) Ordinance, 1961 (No. 46), having met the necessary conditions for government endorsement.
President Md. Mehedi Hasan stated, “Since 2019, we have been working to promote youth development, implement SDG goals, and foster sustainable socio-economic transformation in Gaibandha. Our initiatives include anti-drug campaigns, prevention of child marriage, environmental protection, and ensuring the rights of women and children.”
He further added, “This government registration brings us one step closer to implementing our long-term and permanent projects. We are now more determined than ever to expand our humanitarian efforts in the future.”
সমাজসেবা অধিদপ্তরের নিবন্ধন পেল “সৃজনশীল গাইবান্ধা”
গাইবান্ধা সদর উপজেলার বল্লমঝাড় ইউনিয়নের টেংগরজানী গ্রামে অবস্থিত “সৃজনশীল গাইবান্ধা” সংগঠনটি সমাজকল্যাণ মন্ত্রণালয়ের অধীন গাইবান্ধা সমাজসেবা অধিদপ্তর থেকে নিবন্ধন সনদপত্র পেয়েছে। নিবন্ধিত প্রতিষ্ঠানের নিবন্ধন নম্বর: গাই/সদর/১৫৪১/২০২৩।
সোমবার (১৯ জুন, ২০২৩) দুপুর ২টায় গাইবান্ধা জেলা সমাজসেবা কার্যালয়ে সংগঠনের সভাপতি মো. মেহেদী হাসান এর হাতে আনুষ্ঠানিকভাবে সনদপত্র তুলে দেন জেলা সমাজসেবা অধিদপ্তরের উপপরিচালক মো: ফজলুল হক এবং প্রথম আলোর জেলা প্রতিনিধি শাহাবুল শাহীন তোতা।
জেলা সমাজসেবা অধিদপ্তরের সূত্র জানায়, ১৯৬১ সালের স্বেচ্ছামূলক সমাজকল্যাণ প্রতিষ্ঠান (রেজিস্ট্রেশন ও নিয়ন্ত্রণ) অধ্যাদেশ (নম্বর ৪৬) এর ধারা ৪(৩) অনুযায়ী নির্ধারিত শর্তাদি পূরণ করায় “সৃজনশীল গাইবান্ধা” সংগঠনটিকে সরকারি সীলমোহরে নিবন্ধন প্রদান করা হয়।
সংগঠনের সভাপতি মো. মেহেদী হাসান বলেন, “২০১৯ সাল থেকে আমরা গাইবান্ধায় যুব উন্নয়ন, এসডিজি বাস্তবায়ন, সমাজের আর্থ-সামাজিক উন্নয়ন, মাদকমুক্তি, বাল্যবিবাহ প্রতিরোধ, পরিবেশ ও জলবায়ু রক্ষা, নারী ও শিশু অধিকার বাস্তবায়নসহ নানামুখী কার্যক্রম পরিচালনা করে আসছি।”
তিনি আরও জানান, “সরকারি নিবন্ধনের মাধ্যমে আমাদের দীর্ঘমেয়াদী ও স্থায়ী প্রকল্প বাস্তবায়নের পথে আমরা আরেক ধাপ এগিয়ে গেলাম। ভবিষ্যতে আরও বৃহৎ পরিসরে মানবতার সেবায় কাজ করতে পারব বলে আমরা আশাবাদী।”
