Srijonshil Gaibandha and Boi Ghor Pathagar Honor DC Md. Oliur Rahman with a Farewell Tribute
As part of his transfer farewell, Md. Oliur Rahman, the esteemed Deputy Commissioner of Gaibandha, was honored with a token of appreciation by Srijonshil Gaibandha and Boi Ghor Pathagar.
The tribute was presented in a modest ceremony held at the Deputy Commissioner’s office on Wednesday, 19 July 2023 at 12:00 PM.
Present at the event were Md. Fazlul Haque, Deputy Director of the Department of Social Services, Gaibandha; Md. Mehedi Hasan, President of Srijonshil Gaibandha and Boi Ghor Pathagar; Md. Tawhid Ul Islam Sarkar, General Secretary; and Md. Nishad Babu, Treasurer.
Speakers at the event praised DC Oliur Rahman’s administrative leadership, humanitarian outlook, and significant contributions to local development. They noted that his presence brought a positive transformation to Gaibandha’s governance and public service delivery.
Md. Oliur Rahman has been appointed as Deputy Secretary at the Energy and Mineral Resources Division. In his remarks, he expressed gratitude for the cooperation and warmth shown by the people of Gaibandha during his tenure.
The Srijonshil Gaibandha and Boi Ghor Pathagar team extended their heartfelt wishes for his continued success in his new role.

গাইবান্ধার জেলা প্রশাসক মো. অলিউর রহমান-এর বদলি জনিত বিদায় উপলক্ষে সৃজনশীল গাইবান্ধা ও বই ঘর পাঠাগার এর পক্ষ থেকে সম্মাননা স্মারক প্রদান করা হয়েছে।
বুধবার (১৯ জুলাই ২০২৩) দুপুর ১২টায় জেলা প্রশাসকের কার্যালয়ে এক অনাড়ম্বর অনুষ্ঠানে এ সম্মাননা তুলে দেওয়া হয়। অনুষ্ঠানে গাইবান্ধা জেলা সমাজসেবা কার্যালয়ের উপপরিচালক মো. ফজলুল হক, সৃজনশীল গাইবান্ধা ও বই ঘর পাঠাগারের সভাপতি মো. মেহেদী হাসান, সাধারণ সম্পাদক মো. তাওহীদ উল ইসলাম সরকার, এবং কোষাধ্যক্ষ মো. নিশাদ বাবু উপস্থিত ছিলেন।
অনুষ্ঠানে বক্তারা জেলা প্রশাসক মো. অলিউর রহমানের প্রশাসনিক দক্ষতা, মানবিক দৃষ্টিভঙ্গি এবং উন্নয়নমূলক কর্মকাণ্ডের ভূয়সী প্রশংসা করেন। তাঁরা বলেন, তাঁর সদাচার ও নেতৃত্ব গাইবান্ধার উন্নয়নে ইতিবাচক প্রভাব ফেলেছে।
জেলা প্রশাসক মো. অলিউর রহমানকে জ্বালানি ও খনিজ সম্পদ বিভাগে উপসচিব হিসেবে পদায়ন করা হয়েছে। সম্মাননা গ্রহণের সময় তিনি গাইবান্ধায় কাজ করার অভিজ্ঞতা এবং এখানকার মানুষের আন্তরিকতা ও সহযোগিতার কথা স্মরণ করেন।
