Srijonshil Gaibandha’s Courtesy Meeting with the UNO of Gaibandha Sadar

On December 22, 2020, a delegation from Srijonshil Gaibandha, an organization dedicated to social welfare and youth development, met with the esteemed Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) of Gaibandha Sadar, Mr. Md. Abdur Rafiul Alam, in a formal courtesy meeting.
The delegation included the organization’s president, general secretary, executive members, and volunteers. During the meeting, they introduced the vision, mission, and ongoing programs of Srijonshil Gaibandha, which include:
🔹 Distribution of food and clothing to underprivileged communities
🔹 Operation of “Boighor Pathagar” (community library) to promote reading culture
🔹 Awareness and skill-building programs for students and youth
🔹 COVID-19 relief efforts through mask distribution and awareness campaigns
🔹 Engaging and training youth as volunteers for humanitarian activities
UNO Mr. Abdur Rafiul Alam attentively listened to the initiatives and commended the organization’s sincere efforts. He stated, “Such initiatives by the youth can truly drive social transformation. I wholeheartedly support these noble efforts.”
At the end of the meeting, the organization presented a token of appreciation to the UNO as a gesture of respect and gratitude.
This meeting marked not only a formal introduction but also laid the foundation for future collaborations and partnerships for greater community impact.

সামাজিক পরিবর্তন, মানবিক সহায়তা এবং শিক্ষামূলক কার্যক্রম পরিচালনাকারী সংগঠন সৃজনশীল গাইবান্ধা-এর একটি প্রতিনিধি দল ২২ ডিসেম্বর ২০২০ খ্রি. তারিখে গাইবান্ধা সদর উপজেলার সুযোগ্য উপজেলা নির্বাহী অফিসার (ইউএনও) মোঃ আব্দুর রাফিউল আলম মহোদয়ের সঙ্গে সৌজন্য সাক্ষাৎ করেন।
সাক্ষাতে সংগঠনের পক্ষে উপস্থিত ছিলেন সভাপতি, সাধারণ সম্পাদক, কার্যকরী সদস্যবৃন্দ ও স্বেচ্ছাসেবীরা। আলোচনায় তারা সৃজনশীল গাইবান্ধার গঠনের উদ্দেশ্য, চলমান কর্মসূচি এবং ভবিষ্যৎ পরিকল্পনা তুলে ধরেন, যার মধ্যে রয়েছে—
🔹 দরিদ্র ও সুবিধাবঞ্চিতদের জন্য খাদ্য ও পোশাক বিতরণ
🔹 বই পড়ার অভ্যাস গড়তে ‘বইঘর পাঠাগার’ পরিচালনা
🔹 শিক্ষার্থীদের মাঝে সচেতনতা এবং স্কিল ডেভেলপমেন্ট বিষয়ক কার্যক্রম
🔹 করোনা পরিস্থিতিতে মাস্ক বিতরণ ও সচেতনতামূলক প্রচারণা
🔹 স্বেচ্ছাসেবক হিসেবে তরুণদের প্রশিক্ষণ ও সম্পৃক্ততা
ইউএনও মহোদয় অত্যন্ত মনোযোগ দিয়ে আলোচনা শোনেন এবং সংগঠনের উদ্যম, আন্তরিকতা ও কার্যক্রমের ভূয়সী প্রশংসা করেন। তিনি বলেন, “এ ধরনের তরুণদের উদ্যোগ সমাজে ইতিবাচক পরিবর্তন আনতে পারে। আমি সবসময় এমন কার্যক্রমে পাশে আছি।”
সাক্ষাতের শেষে সংগঠনের পক্ষ থেকে ইউএনও মহোদয়কে শুভেচ্ছা স্মারক প্রদান করা হয়।
এই সাক্ষাৎ শুধুমাত্র একটি আনুষ্ঠানিকতা ছিল না, বরং এটি ছিল ভবিষ্যতের জন্য একটি শক্তিশালী সহযোগিতার ভিত্তিপ্রস্তর।
