Today, 9 August – International Day of the World’s Indigenous Peoples. This day is dedicated to recognizing the rights, dignity, and cultures of Indigenous peoples around the globe. From Bangladesh to every corner of the world, Indigenous communities have enriched human civilization for centuries through their unique languages, cultures, attire, festivals, and way of life.
The day serves as a vital call to protect the land, natural resources, and cultural heritage of Indigenous peoples. It is our shared responsibility to ensure their rights and safeguard their traditions for future generations.

আন্তর্জাতিক আদিবাসী দিবস ২০২৫ – বৈচিত্র্যের রঙে ঐক্যের অঙ্গীকার
আজ ৯ আগস্ট – আন্তর্জাতিক আদিবাসী দিবস। এ দিনটি বিশ্বের সকল আদিবাসী জনগোষ্ঠীর অধিকার, মর্যাদা ও সংস্কৃতির স্বীকৃতি জানানোর দিন। বাংলাদেশসহ বিশ্বের বিভিন্ন প্রান্তে বসবাসরত আদিবাসীরা প্রাচীনকাল থেকে তাদের নিজস্ব ভাষা, সংস্কৃতি, পোশাক, উৎসব এবং জীবনধারার মাধ্যমে মানবসভ্যতাকে সমৃদ্ধ করে আসছে।
এই দিবসটি আদিবাসী জনগণের ভূমি, প্রাকৃতিক সম্পদ এবং সাংস্কৃতিক ঐতিহ্য রক্ষার জন্য এক গুরুত্বপূর্ণ আহ্বান। আমাদের সম্মিলিত দায়িত্ব হলো তাদের অধিকার নিশ্চিত করা এবং তাদের ঐতিহ্যকে ভবিষ্যৎ প্রজন্মের জন্য সংরক্ষণ করা।
“তাদের ভাষা, সংস্কৃতি ও ভূমি – আমাদের সম্মিলিত ঐতিহ্যের অংশ।”
