CAP Campaign Held in Gaibandha to Build Civic Awareness with Youth Participation

On the morning of January 31, 2026, a one-day civic education and awareness campaign was held at the Rhstep hall room in Gaibandha to raise awareness and activate youth regarding civic rights and democratic participation. This program was organized under the Community Action Project (CAP) initiative by Jagrot Nagorik Foundation and Alokito Nagorik Foundation, with participation from various youth representatives of Gaibandha district.

Two members from Srijonshil Gaibandha Foundation, Al Imran and Md. Rafiuzzaman, actively participated in this campaign. Around 20 youths, including representatives from various organizations at the district level, were involved in the event.

The program included detailed discussions on civic rights, voting rights, democracy, good governance, and justice. Participants were clearly informed about the importance of these issues in building a conscious, responsible, and participatory society.

After the training, awareness leaflets were distributed among the participants, and necessary guidelines were provided for implementing CAP activities at the grassroots level. Special emphasis was placed on increasing civic awareness locally through youth engagement.

With the collective efforts of all, the event was successfully completed. The enthusiastic participation of the youth carries a hopeful message for the future and indicates positive progress toward building a society with a strong sense of civic responsibility.



গাইবান্ধায় নাগরিক সচেতনতা গড়তে তরুণদের অংশগ্রহণে CAP ক্যাম্পেইন অনুষ্ঠিত

৩১ জানুয়ারি ২০২৬ তারিখে সকালে গাইবান্ধার আরএইচস্টেপ হল রুমে নাগরিক অধিকার ও গণতান্ত্রিক অংশগ্রহণ বিষয়ে তরুণদের সচেতন ও সক্রিয় করে তুলতে এক দিনব্যাপী নাগরিক শিক্ষা ও সচেতনতামূলক ক্যাম্পেইন অনুষ্ঠিত হয়। জাগ্রত নাগরিক ফাউন্ডেশন ও আলোকিত নাগরিক ফাউন্ডেশন-এর উদ্যোগে কমিউনিটি অ্যাকশন প্রজেক্ট (CAP) এর আওতায় আয়োজিত এ কর্মসূচিতে গাইবান্ধা জেলার বিভিন্ন তরুণ প্রতিনিধি অংশগ্রহণ করেন।

এই ক্যাম্পেইনে সৃজনশীল গাইবান্ধা ফাউন্ডেশন-এর পক্ষ থেকে দুজন সদস্য আল ইমরান ও মোঃ রাফিউজ্জামান সক্রিয়ভাবে অংশগ্রহণ করেন। জেলা পর্যায়ের বিভিন্ন সংগঠনের প্রতিনিধিসহ প্রায় ২০ জন তরুণ এ আয়োজনে যুক্ত ছিলেন।

কর্মসূচিতে নাগরিক অধিকার, ভোটাধিকার, গণতন্ত্র, সুশাসন ও ন্যায়বিচার বিষয়ে বিস্তারিত আলোচনা করা হয়। একটি সচেতন, দায়িত্বশীল ও অংশগ্রহণমূলক সমাজ গঠনে এসব বিষয় যে কতটা গুরুত্বপূর্ণ, সে সম্পর্কে অংশগ্রহণকারীদের মাঝে স্পষ্ট ধারণা প্রদান করা হয়।

প্রশিক্ষণ শেষে অংশগ্রহণকারীদের মধ্যে সচেতনতামূলক লিফলেট বিতরণ করা হয় এবং তৃণমূল পর্যায়ে CAP কার্যক্রম বাস্তবায়নের জন্য প্রয়োজনীয় দিকনির্দেশনা দেওয়া হয়। তরুণদের মাধ্যমে স্থানীয় পর্যায়ে নাগরিক সচেতনতা বৃদ্ধির ওপর বিশেষ গুরুত্বারোপ করা হয়।

সবার সম্মিলিত প্রচেষ্টায় আয়োজটি সফলভাবে সম্পন্ন হয়। তরুণদের প্রাণবন্ত অংশগ্রহণ ভবিষ্যতের জন্য এক আশাব্যঞ্জক বার্তা বহন করে এবং নাগরিক দায়িত্ববোধসম্পন্ন একটি সমাজ গঠনের পথে ইতিবাচক অগ্রযাত্রার ইঙ্গিত দেয়।
