Climate Art Mural Activity Held in Gaibandha

To raise climate awareness through youth engagement, a Climate Art Mural activity was organized in Gaibandha. Under the project titled “Gaibandha EcoCycle: Youth Innovation for Flood-Resilient Green Economy,” this initiative used art and creativity to highlight the impacts of climate change and promote environmental conservation.

At the four-road intersection in School Lane, Gorosthanpara, young volunteers and students created vibrant wall paintings that conveyed important messages about environmental protection, reducing plastic pollution, and adopting sustainable lifestyles. These colorful murals attracted the attention of passersby and helped spread awareness within the community.

The program was organized by Srijonshil Gaibandha, with support from NYF and VSO Bangladesh.

তরুণদের অংশগ্রহণে গাইবান্ধায় জলবায়ু সচেতনতা ছড়িয়ে দিতে আয়োজন করা হয়েছে ক্লাইমেট আর্ট মুরাল কার্যক্রম। “Gaibandha EcoCycle: Youth Innovation for Flood-Resilient Green Economy” প্রকল্পের আওতায় এই উদ্যোগে শিল্প ও সৃজনশীলতার মাধ্যমে জলবায়ু পরিবর্তনের প্রভাব এবং পরিবেশ সংরক্ষণের বার্তা তুলে ধরা হয়।

শহরের স্কুললেন রোড গোরস্থানপাড়া চার রাস্তার মোড়ে তরুণ স্বেচ্ছাসেবক ও শিক্ষার্থীরা দেয়ালচিত্র আঁকার মাধ্যমে পরিবেশ রক্ষা, প্লাস্টিক দূষণ কমানো এবং টেকসই জীবনযাপনের গুরুত্ব তুলে ধরেন। রঙিন এই মুরালগুলো পথচারীদের দৃষ্টি আকর্ষণ করে এবং সচেতনতার বার্তা ছড়িয়ে দেয়।

এই আয়োজন করে ‘সৃজনশীল গাইবান্ধা’, সহযোগিতায় এনওয়াইএফ এবং ভিএসও বাংলাদেশ।
