Official Notification on the Implementation of “Youth Climate Grant 2025” Project Held in Gaibandha
Gaibandha, 1 February 2026: An official notification program regarding the implementation of the “Youth Climate Grant 2025” project, signed between Voluntary Service Overseas (VSO), Bangladesh and the implementing organization, was successfully conducted this morning at various government offices in Gaibandha district.
On this occasion, members of Srijonshil Gaibandha paid courtesy visits to the concerned government offices and formally briefed the officials about the project’s objectives, scope, and planned activities.
During the visits, meetings were held with the Deputy Commissioner of Gaibandha, Upazila Nirbahi Officer, Deputy Director of the District Social Services Office, Deputy Director of the District Youth Development Department, Upazila Social Services Officer (Gaibandha Sadar), and Upazila Youth Development Officer (Gaibandha Sadar).
The project is expected to play a significant role in enhancing climate awareness through youth engagement, strengthening local climate initiatives, and advancing sustainable development efforts at the grassroots level.

গাইবান্ধা, ১ ফেব্রুয়ারি ২০২৬: Voluntary Service Overseas (VSO), Bangladesh–এর সাথে স্বাক্ষরিত “Youth Climate Grant 2025” শীর্ষক প্রকল্প বাস্তবায়ন সংক্রান্ত চুক্তি বিষয়ে আজ সকালে গাইবান্ধা জেলার বিভিন্ন সরকারি দপ্তরে আনুষ্ঠানিক অবহিতকরণ কার্যক্রম সম্পন্ন হয়েছে।
এ উপলক্ষে সৃজনশীল গাইবান্ধা–এর সদস্যরা জেলার সংশ্লিষ্ট সরকারি দপ্তরসমূহে সৌজন্য সাক্ষাৎ করেন এবং প্রকল্পের লক্ষ্য, উদ্দেশ্য ও পরিকল্পিত কার্যক্রম সম্পর্কে বিস্তারিতভাবে অবহিত করেন।
সৌজন্য সাক্ষাৎকালে সংগঠনের প্রতিনিধিরা গাইবান্ধার জেলা প্রশাসক, উপজেলা নির্বাহী কর্মকর্তা, উপপরিচালক (জেলা সমাজসেবা কার্যালয়), উপপরিচালক (জেলা যুব উন্নয়ন অধিদপ্তর), উপজেলা সমাজসেবা কর্মকর্তা (গাইবান্ধা সদর) এবং উপজেলা যুব উন্নয়ন কর্মকর্তা (গাইবান্ধা সদর)–এর সাথে মতবিনিময় করেন।
প্রকল্পটির মাধ্যমে যুবদের সক্রিয় সম্পৃক্ততার মাধ্যমে জলবায়ু পরিবর্তন বিষয়ে সচেতনতা বৃদ্ধি, স্থানীয় পর্যায়ে জলবায়ু উদ্যোগ শক্তিশালীকরণ এবং টেকসই উন্নয়ন কার্যক্রমকে এগিয়ে নেওয়া সম্ভব হবে বলে আশাবাদ ব্যক্ত করা হয়।
