Inauguration of a Comprehensive Survey on Sales Employees’ Skill Development in Gaibandha

The formal inauguration of the “Comprehensive Survey on Skill Development of Sales Employees Working in Different Shopping Malls in Gaibandha District Town” has been held with the aim of developing the skills of sales employees working in various shopping malls, markets, and commercial establishments in Gaibandha district town. Today, 24 August 2026, Monday, the formal inauguration of the survey activities was held at Salimar Super Market in Gaibandha town.

The survey activities were formally inaugurated by Samiul Huda Sumel, President of Gaibandha Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Also present were Chamber Directors Md. Abul Hosen Mridha (Sohag), Director Ali Kawsar Babul, Director Abu Taher Sadrul Amin, Chamber Secretary Ziaul Haque Kamal, and owners and representatives of various business establishments. In addition, Md. Mehedi Hasan, President of Srijonshil Gaibandha Foundation, was present.
The comprehensive survey is being conducted to collect information on the skills, experience, working environment, required skills, and training needs of sales employees working in various shopping malls, markets, and commercial establishments in Gaibandha district town.

A total of 15 enumerators are participating in the survey activities. They will visit different shopping malls and commercial establishments in person, collect information from sales employees through a prescribed questionnaire, and complete the survey forms.

The organizers stated that the survey will play an important role in identifying the areas where sales employees in Gaibandha district town need skill development and in taking necessary training and capacity-building initiatives for them in the future.

The information obtained through the survey will be analyzed to determine the necessary training, priority areas, and future action plans for developing the skills of sales employees.

The organizers hope that this initiative will contribute positively to the professional skills, communication capacity, customer service, and working environment of sales employees working in the business and commercial sector of Gaibandha. One skilled sales employee a stronger business a prosperous local economy.

গাইবান্ধা জেলা শহরের বিভিন্ন শপিং মল, মার্কেট ও বাণিজ্যিক প্রতিষ্ঠানে কর্মরত বিক্রয় কর্মীদের দক্ষতা উন্নয়নের লক্ষ্যে “গাইবান্ধা জেলা শহরের বিভিন্ন শপিং মলের বিক্রয় কর্মীদের দক্ষতা উন্নয়ন বিষয়ক সমন্বিত জরিপ” কার্যক্রমের আনুষ্ঠানিক উদ্বোধন করা হয়েছে।

আজ ২৪ আগস্ট ২০২৬, সোমবার, গাইবান্ধা শহরের সালিমার সুপার মার্কেটে এ জরিপ কার্যক্রমের আনুষ্ঠানিক উদ্বোধন অনুষ্ঠিত হয়। উদ্বোধনী অনুষ্ঠানে উপস্থিত থেকে জরিপ কার্যক্রমের উদ্বোধন করেন গাইবান্ধা চেম্বার অব কমার্স অ্যান্ড ইন্ডাস্ট্রির সভাপতি সামিউল হুদা সুমেল। এ সময় উপস্থিত ছিলেন চেম্বারের পরিচালক মোঃ আবুল হোসেন মৃধা (সোহাগ), পরিচালক আলী কাওসার বাবুল, পরিচালক আবু তাহের সদরুল আমীন, চেম্বার সচিব জিয়াউল হক কামাল এবং বিভিন্ন ব্যবসা প্রতিষ্ঠানের মালিক ও প্রতিনিধিরা। এছাড়া সৃজনশীল গাইবান্ধা ফাউন্ডেশনের সভাপতি মোঃ মেহেদী হাসান উপস্থিত ছিলেন।

গাইবান্ধা জেলা শহরের বিভিন্ন শপিং মল, মার্কেট ও বাণিজ্যিক প্রতিষ্ঠানে কর্মরত বিক্রয় কর্মীদের দক্ষতা, অভিজ্ঞতা, কর্মপরিবেশ, প্রয়োজনীয় দক্ষতা এবং প্রশিক্ষণের চাহিদা সম্পর্কে তথ্য সংগ্রহের লক্ষ্যে এ সমন্বিত জরিপ পরিচালনা করা হচ্ছে। জরিপ কার্যক্রমে মোট ১৫ জন জরিপকারী অংশগ্রহণ করছেন। তাঁরা নির্ধারিত প্রশ্নমালার মাধ্যমে বিভিন্ন শপিং মল ও বাণিজ্যিক প্রতিষ্ঠানে সরেজমিনে গিয়ে বিক্রয় কর্মীদের কাছ থেকে তথ্য সংগ্রহ করবেন এবং জরিপ ফরম পূরণ করবেন।

আয়োজকরা জানান, গাইবান্ধা জেলা শহরের বিক্রয় কর্মীদের দক্ষতা উন্নয়নের প্রয়োজনীয় ক্ষেত্রগুলো চিহ্নিত করা এবং ভবিষ্যতে তাঁদের জন্য প্রয়োজনীয় প্রশিক্ষণ ও সক্ষমতা বৃদ্ধিমূলক কার্যক্রম গ্রহণের ক্ষেত্রে এ জরিপ গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ভূমিকা রাখবে।

জরিপের মাধ্যমে প্রাপ্ত তথ্য বিশ্লেষণ করে বিক্রয় কর্মীদের দক্ষতা উন্নয়নের জন্য প্রয়োজনীয় প্রশিক্ষণ, অগ্রাধিকার ক্ষেত্র এবং ভবিষ্যৎ কর্মপরিকল্পনা নির্ধারণ করা হবে।
আয়োজকদের প্রত্যাশা, এ উদ্যোগের মাধ্যমে গাইবান্ধার ব্যবসা-বাণিজ্য খাতে কর্মরত বিক্রয় কর্মীদের পেশাগত দক্ষতা, যোগাযোগ সক্ষমতা, ক্রেতাসেবা ও কর্মপরিবেশের উন্নয়নে ইতিবাচক ভূমিকা রাখা সম্ভব হবে।
