Tribute to the Language Martyrs on Martyrs’ Day and International Mother Language Day

On the occasion of 21 February, Martyrs’ Day and International Mother Language Day, Srijonshil Gaibandha Foundation paid heartfelt tribute to the Language Martyrs by placing floral wreaths at the Gaibandha Central Shaheed Minar.

On this historic day in 1952, brave sons of the soil sacrificed their lives to protect the dignity of the Bangla language. Their supreme sacrifice remains an eternal source of inspiration, pride, and national consciousness for the Bangalee nation.

Leaders of the organization reaffirmed their commitment to uphold the spirit of the Language Movement by promoting truth, justice, equality, and humanity in building a conscious and compassionate society.

The organization stated that language is not merely a medium of communication; it is the foundation of culture, history, and identity. They pledged to spread the spirit of the Language Movement among the younger generation and to contribute towards building a prosperous Bangladesh.

With deep respect and love, the Language Martyrs were remembered and honored on this solemn day.


মহান শহীদ দিবস ও আন্তর্জাতিক মাতৃভাষা দিবসে ভাষা শহীদদের প্রতি শ্রদ্ধা নিবেদন

২১ ফেব্রুয়ারি মহান শহীদ দিবস ও আন্তর্জাতিক মাতৃভাষা দিবস উপলক্ষে সৃজনশীল গাইবান্ধা ফাউন্ডেশন-এর পক্ষ থেকে গাইবান্ধা কেন্দ্রীয় শহীদ মিনার-এ পুষ্পস্তবক অর্পণ করে ভাষা শহীদদের প্রতি গভীর শ্রদ্ধা নিবেদন করা হয়েছে।

১৯৫২ সালের এই দিনে মাতৃভাষা বাংলার মর্যাদা রক্ষায় যারা জীবন উৎসর্গ করেছিলেন, তাঁদের আত্মত্যাগ বাঙালি জাতির চেতনা, গৌরব ও প্রেরণার অনন্ত উৎস হয়ে আছে। শহীদদের স্মৃতির প্রতি বিনম্র শ্রদ্ধা জানিয়ে সংগঠনের নেতৃবৃন্দ বলেন, ভাষা আন্দোলনের চেতনা ধারণ করে সত্য, ন্যায়, সাম্য ও মানবিক মূল্যবোধে উজ্জীবিত একটি সচেতন সমাজ গঠনে তারা কাজ করে যাবেন।

সংগঠনটি আরও জানায়, ভাষা শুধু যোগাযোগের মাধ্যম নয়; এটি আমাদের সংস্কৃতি, ইতিহাস ও আত্মপরিচয়ের ভিত্তি। নতুন প্রজন্মের মাঝে ভাষা আন্দোলনের আদর্শ ছড়িয়ে দিতে এবং সমৃদ্ধ বাংলাদেশ গড়তে তারা প্রতিশ্রুতিবদ্ধ।

শ্রদ্ধা ও ভালোবাসায় স্মরণ করা হয় সকল ভাষা শহীদকে।
“আমার ভাইয়ের রক্তে রাঙানো একুশে ফেব্রুয়ারি, আমি কি ভুলিতে পারি?”
