Climate Art Green Learning Festival 2026 Held in Gaibandha

The Climate Art Green Learning Festival 2026 was organized in Gaibandha, combining environmental awareness with creative expression. The festival aimed to spread awareness about plastic pollution prevention and sustainable living under the theme: “Not plastic, but conscious use for a greener future.”

The Climate Art Exhibition was held on 21 February 2026 at the Shaheed Minar premises of Gaibandha Poura Park, where students from various educational institutions and young artists of the district participated. Under the theme “Plastic Reuse – Reduce, Reuse, Recycle,” participants presented creative artworks highlighting environmental conservation, the harmful impacts of plastic pollution, and the importance of sustainable lifestyles.

Artworks made from plastic waste, awareness posters, and eco-friendly messages attracted significant attention from visitors. The enthusiastic participation of the audience made the entire event lively and impactful.

The festival was organized by Srijonshil Gaibandha, co-organized by NYF Bangladesh, with support from VSO Bangladesh. The organizers stated that such initiatives will further inspire young people to actively engage in environmental protection and contribute to building a green and sustainable Bangladesh.

গাইবান্ধায় পরিবেশ সচেতনতা ও সৃজনশীলতার সমন্বয়ে আয়োজন করা হলো ক্লাইমেট আর্ট গ্রিন লার্নিং ফেস্টিভ্যাল ২০২৬। প্লাস্টিক দূষণ প্রতিরোধ ও টেকসই জীবনযাপনের বার্তা ছড়িয়ে দিতে আয়োজিত এ উৎসবের মূল প্রতিপাদ্য ছিল— “প্লাস্টিক নয়, সচেতন ব্যবহারই সবুজ ভবিষ্যৎ”।

২১ ফেব্রুয়ারি ২০২৬ তারিখে গাইবান্ধা পৌর পার্ক-এর বিজয় স্তম্ভ প্রাঙ্গণে অনুষ্ঠিত ক্লাইমেট আর্ট প্রদর্শনীতে জেলার বিভিন্ন শিক্ষা প্রতিষ্ঠান ও তরুণ শিল্পীরা অংশগ্রহণ করেন। “প্লাস্টিকের পুনঃব্যবহার – Reduce, Reuse, Recycle” প্রতিপাদ্যে অংশগ্রহণকারীরা তাদের সৃজনশীল চিত্রকর্মের মাধ্যমে পরিবেশ সংরক্ষণ, প্লাস্টিক দূষণের ক্ষতিকর প্রভাব এবং টেকসই জীবনের বার্তা তুলে ধরেন।

প্রদর্শনীতে প্লাস্টিক বর্জ্য দিয়ে তৈরি শিল্পকর্ম, সচেতনতামূলক পোস্টার ও পরিবেশবান্ধব বার্তাসমৃদ্ধ চিত্রকর্ম দর্শনার্থীদের বিশেষভাবে আকৃষ্ট করে। দর্শনার্থীদের স্বতঃস্ফূর্ত উপস্থিতি ও অংশগ্রহণে পুরো আয়োজন প্রাণবন্ত হয়ে ওঠে।

উৎসবটির আয়োজন করে সৃজনশীল গাইবান্ধা, কো-অর্গানাইজার হিসেবে ছিল NYF বাংলাদেশ এবং সহযোগিতায় ছিল ভিএসও বাংলাদেশ। আয়োজকরা জানান, এ ধরনের উদ্যোগ তরুণ প্রজন্মকে পরিবেশ রক্ষায় আরও সচেতন ও সক্রিয় করে তুলবে এবং একটি সবুজ, টেকসই বাংলাদেশ গঠনে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ভূমিকা রাখবে।
